Gift Card Gift Bag

May 11, 2010

The 3rd graders best friend had a birthday party Saturday afternoon.  The birthday girl really wanted a new Zumbuddy, a Webkiz creation, but the local toy story was totally sold out.  After check to make sure more would be coming, we purchased a gift card so she could buy one as soon as they came in.  I continued my fabric gift bag tradition and made a small draw string bag using fabric from the scrap basket.  I decided to embellish it with a  fabric rosette in shades of pinks and reds,  just like the birthday party girls got for their aprons.  It made for a little something she could enjoy right away while she waits for the Zumbuddy shipment to arrive.
